WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS SEMINAR?
The Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville encourage attendance by any attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, and all other support staff who handle Probate Court cases or related professionals who want to expand or update their knowledge of court procedures.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS AND PROGRAM
The seminar will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, in Suite 400 at Greenville County Square, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC. REGISTRATION WILL BE FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 9:00 A.M. The seminar will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. There will be snacks and beverages served at the morning break courtesy of Legal Eagle.
Probate Judge Debora A. Faulkner, Assoc. Judges Caroline M. Horlbeck, and Clayton L. Jennings, together with the Court’s senior staff will be the speakers. There may be guest speakers on hand as well to offer their perspectives on common hurdles your client’s face in the transfer of probate assets. The presentations will be on current probate practice issues with “Hot Tips” on how best to achieve a good outcome for your clients. The speakers will assemble a panel at the end of the seminar to answer your questions.
If you are new to probate practice, don’t worry! The basics will be covered in the written materials you will receive. Each attendee will receive a complete notebook of resource materials (available in notebook style or on a thumb drive in a searchable pdf format).
